SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2026, The Marshall Institute for Ethical Thought and Action, in conjunction with the Marc Sanders Foundation, the Fordham Center for Ethics, and the Fordham University Department of Philosophy, hosted the inaugural Dr. Siobhan Nash-Marshall Regional NYC High School Ethics Bowl. The Ethics Bowl was held inside Keating Hall, at the magnificent Fordham University - Rose Hill campus in The Bronx. Fordham University holds a special place in the heart of MIETA, for our late founder, Siobhan Nash-Marshall once graced its halls.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 31, 2026, The Marshall Institute for Ethical Thought and Action, in conjunction with Sacred Heart Greenwich and the Marc Sanders Foundation, hosted the 11th Annual Dr. Siobhan Nash-Marshall Regional High School Ethics Bowl. This year’s event saw a new change of scenery. The Ethics Bowl was held at the stunning Sacred Heart Greenwich in Greenwich, CT, itself a stone's throw away from Manhattanville, our founding location.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2025, Avenues: The World School hosted a scrimmage match for teams competing in the New York City Ethics Bowl on February 7th, 2026. The Marshall Institute for Ethical Thought and Action sent its interns to judge at the scrimmage. They were eager for the opportunity to gain more experience judging and to engage in dialogue with the high school students.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2025, Manhattanville University hosted the 10th Annual Westchester County Regional High School Ethics Bowl. The Marshall Institute for Ethical Thought & Action coordinated the event in tandem with the Mary T. Clark Chair of Christian Philosophy. This year, organizers with the Marshall Institute were happy to announce that the event will be renamed the Dr. Siobhan Nash-Marshall Regional High School Ethics Bowl.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 27, 2024, Manhattanville College along with the Marshall Institute for Ethical Thought & Action hosts the 9th Annual Westchester County High School Ethics Bowl, as part of the National High School Ethics Bowl organized by the Parr Center for Ethics at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2022, Manhattanville College hosted the 7th Annual Westchester County – Regional High School Ethics Bowl, a local debate-style competition part of the National High School Ethics Bowl organized by the Parr Center for Ethics at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill... This year’s Ethics Bowl welcomed 140 High School students to roam the halls and campus of Manhattanville – with 10 High Schools registered and 22 teams ready to compete!
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2021, Manhattanville College’s Philosophy program held its 6th annual Westchester County High School Ethics Bowl in tandem with the Marshall Institute for Ethical Thought and Action. Even with the complications caused by the COVID crisis, it was the biggest event of its kind yet.
