The Ethics Bowl is a phenomenal event that fosters critical thinking and challenges ideas among high school students. The Ethics Bowl allows for people to formulate their thoughts and articulate their positions on any given contemporary issue.
The Ethics & Logic Workshop is an initiative to have Manhattanville alumni and undergraduate students lead high schools in Socratic Dialogue, and the key elements in formulating arguments.
The Internship Program offered by the Institute awards college credit towards the student's major. Our Interns train all year to be qualified, and confident volunteer Judges for the Annual High School Ethics Bowl!
The Institute offers courses for professionals and educators in the form of Webinars and Orientations. This allows for a more engaging experience at the annual Bowl event.
The Marshall Institute was founded in 2020 in order to prepare American youth to meet the unique challenges, issues, and concerns of today by preparing them to consider civic problems and respond to them with solutions that are at once rigorous and creative.
We aim to cultivate a community wherein thoughts can be clearly articulated, openly shared and discussed, wherein individuals are respected and can listen to others without prejudice or fear, wherein people can communicate, collaborate, and unify.
